This city

I'm visiting my in-laws in a city I once lived.

Before I got to know my husband I saw This city as a cold and lonely place, filled with mindless partying and fake relationships. Stupid people in this stupid, yuppy, city where everything was scary and unstable. I felt such hopelessness. I have felt hopeless before in my life, but this was something I'd never had experienced in my life.

In This city, when people leave the bus they say "thank you" to the driver.

Now, I see this whole other side of this city I never experienced while living in here. I'm sitting here in their living room, filled with people who I know and accept me for who I am. This is my family. This is my second home. This is a the side I wish I knew when I was living in here.

This city has a rich culture. I think I got to experience it pretty well after living in here for five years (from 17 to 22). It has a lot of intolerance but also a lot of love. It has rappers and Russians, it has hippies and hipsters. There is

People in this city here like skiing. So much that they have a whole event for it every year.

When I was living in This city I always felt that the people were cold, private and rude.
Few weeks ago I was talking with my friend (who I met in This city, and who also lives in Turku at the moment). She said that Turku people are cold, private and rude and people in This city are kind, friendly and warm. I was confused, because thats the exact opposite way how I felt. I understood that how you experience life is so subjective, and I felt stupid for thinking that I'm right.
I'm not. That's just my experience. There is no wrong or right.

Swedish isn't appreciated in This city.

There is plenty of water in This city. It's part of its reputation.

This city has two towers. No, this is not a reference to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

This city has a famous rap artist who is named by a body part.

This city is also famous for it's ski jump.
