Mañana, Mañana
I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised how we, the Finns, and the others, Los Mexicanos, worked together pretty seamlessly. Of course there are some differences but all and all everything went quite smoothly.
Of course there are some misunderstandings between two completely different cultures from opposite sides of the world, but I guess the film industry shares the same "language" regardless of nation or culture.
I guess the biggest difference I noticed during this production is the "time-nazi"-ideology that Finnish people have: when something is planned to happen at a certain time, Finns get upset if things don't go as timed. We had some issues with our scheduling and everyday we worked overtime because of this. I guess Finnish people are more clock oriented than Latin Americans, because here every minute costs money. I don't know what it's like to work in Mexico, but I'd guess it's cheaper to have workers and the pay isn't defined by hours.
Anyway, I had a blast working with the Mexicans and got the chance to speak Spanish after a long time which made me quite happy :)
Here is a video of our production! Enjoy! (If it doesn't show you can check it our here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7WO03qjfHg&feature=youtu.be)
